Start here — registration & activation
⚠️ Important: how do I activate my business profile?
This step is required for vendor packages (Basic, Standard, Premium) — not for the Marketplace. After registration, you have a regular user account by default. To become visible as a vendor partner, you must explicitly switch to your business profile:
Option 1 — via your account page: log in, go to your account page and click the "Switch to business profile" button.
Option 2 — via the menu: click "Switch to business profile" in the top menu.
Important: without this switch you cannot manage your vendor profile, receive quote requests or use partner features. This step is often forgotten — do it right after registration!
How do I create a partner account?
Go to our registration page, fill in your details and — for vendor packages — immediately activate your business profile via "Switch to business profile".
What information do I need to get started?
For vendor packages: company name, a short business description, photos of your work, contact details and your category. The more complete your profile, the more enquiries you'll receive.
Can I edit my profile later?
Yes, you can log in any time to update your profile — photos, description, contact details and (for Standard/Premium) your offerings. Make sure you're logged in to your business profile.
How long does activation take?
After payment, activating your business profile and filling in your details, we review your profile within 24 hours and put it live. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's visible.
Basic, Standard & Premium
What's the promo and when does it end?
Register as a partner and you pay our current rates (€49 / €99 / €199) with our current promotional moment counts (2 / 4 / 12). From June onwards, prices increase to €79 / €149 / €299 and promotional moments drop to 1 / 3 / 8 for new partners.
Your locked-in price and promo moments apply to your first renewal as well — standard rates kick in from year 3.
What's the difference between Basic, Standard and Premium?
Basic (€49/year) gives you a profile page, category placement and 2 promotional moments per year — ideal to start.
Standard (€99/year) adds quote requests, the booking system, live chat and 4 promotional moments. This is our most popular package.
Premium (€199/year) includes 12 promotional moments, priority ranking, homepage rotation, blog mention and first right to direct leads.
Can I upgrade later to a higher package?
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. We pro-rate the remaining amount of your current package against the new one. Contact us via our contact page to upgrade.
Is there a trial period or notice period?
Our packages are annual subscriptions. There's no trial period, but you can cancel any time directly from your account with one click — see the cancellation question below. Mid-term cancellation is possible but doesn't qualify for a refund.
What happens after 1 year?
You'll receive a reminder well in advance. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel via your account.
Selling products
Who can register as a retail partner?
Anyone with products that fit desi and multicultural weddings — think decoration, clothing, jewellery, pooja items, gifts, beauty and more.
✓ Open to everyone: no KvK registration or VAT number required, and you do not need to switch to a business profile. Simply register and start selling.
Do I need to "Switch to business profile" for the marketplace?
No. The marketplace works directly from your regular user account. The business profile switch is only required for our vendor packages (Basic, Standard, Premium).
How does the 10% commission work?
You pay no subscription or setup costs. Only when a customer buys from you via the marketplace do we withhold 10% commission on the sale price. No sale = no costs.
Who handles shipping for marketplace orders?
You as the retail partner handle shipping to the customer. The buyer pays €7 shipping, or nothing on orders of €100 or more.
When do I receive my payout?
Payouts happen within 14 days after the customer has received the order and the return period has passed. You'll find a full sales overview in your account.
How many products can I list?
There's no limit to the number of products you can upload. We do recommend only uploading products with good photos and clear descriptions — those sell much better.
How we promote you
What exactly are "promotional moments"?
A promotional moment is a feature via one of our channels: Instagram post or reel, story mention, newsletter, blog or category spotlight. Premium partners also get homepage rotation and marketing campaigns.
Can I choose when I get promoted?
We schedule based on our content calendar and seasonal trends (e.g. wedding season, Diwali, Eid). Premium gives you more flexibility for specific campaigns.
What do I need to provide for promotion?
High-quality photos or short videos (vertical 9:16 for stories/reels), a short caption and your social handles. The more complete your input, the stronger the promotion.
What does priority ranking (Premium) mean?
Premium partners appear at the top of their category when a couple searches. This gives you significantly more visibility and therefore more enquiries.
How payments work
Which payment methods are accepted?
iDEAL, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfer. For annual subscriptions you'll receive an invoice immediately after payment.
Do I get an invoice with VAT?
Yes, you'll receive a proper invoice with VAT breakdown by email. All invoices are also available in your partner account.
Are package prices inclusive of VAT?
Prices shown are exclusive of 21% VAT. VAT is added automatically at checkout.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel directly via your account with just one click — no email or contact form required. Log in, go to your account page and click the cancel option.
Your profile stays active until the end of the paid period and won't renew automatically. If you run into any issues, you can always reach us via our contact page.
